To Spanish speakers, gringos all sound alike.

And it's not hard to see why...

Every Spanish student learns with the same textbooks...

Every Spanish student learns the same basic words...

  • Bueno...
  • Bien...
  • Me gusta...

Time to put a stop to the dullness!

It’s time to inject some personality and flair into your Spanish!

But how?

With idioms, of course!

Idioms are the life & soul of the language party...

And possessing a healthy repertoire of idioms is the surest way to stand out from the crowd.

In our fluency-boosting December challenge, you’ll master 101 incredible Spanish idioms, so you can bring your conversations to life & put a smile on the face of every Spanish speaker you meet!

Normally, students find Spanish idioms pretty difficult to get to grips with...

  • It’s hard to remember idioms because they can be complex and illogical
  • You don’t know how to use idioms naturally because they depend on the context
  • Using the wrong idiom is guaranteed to cause confusion!

If you've tried learning idioms before, you might have felt like they're just a bit too tricky for you.

Well, not so fast...

Help is at hand!

I’ve created a unique 30-day challenge, Incredible Idioms!, to help you out.

During this challenge, you’ll use our unique StoryLearning® methodology to hardwire 101 idioms into your mind, so that you know exactly:

  • what each idiom means
  • how to use them correctly

...so you can impress native speakers with your colourful, lively Spanish!

No more long lists of phrases.

No more rote memorisation.

And most importantly...

No more sounding like a "gringo" when you chat with your Spanish-speaking family and friends.

Introducing the December Challenge:

"Incredible Idioms!"

Here’s how the challenge works.

The challenge is based on an exciting original story in Spanish that develops over the 30 days of the challenge.

This is a brand new story, written exclusively for this 30-Day Challenge.

But unlike a regular story, our challenge story is jam-packed with 101 Spanish idioms, hand-picked for their usefulness in conversation!

Fun, yet highly-useful, idioms like...

  • ¡Ser la leche! (To be amazing)
  • Hacer la pelota (To flatter someone in order to get something
  • Ponerse las botas (To eat a lot)

Do you know what these mean? (You will by the end of the challenge!)

But it's not just the story...

Every day, you’ll receive an amazing package of training to help you decode the Spanish you hear in the story, such as daily video lessons, audio, and exercises.

It'll take you about 15 minutes each day.

All you have to do is show up every day…

Over the course of the month, the daily immersion will help you absorb Spanish idioms naturally, until you "just know" instinctively what they mean, can recall them on demand, and impress native speakers with your rich and vibrant Spanish.

The result is that you'll be able to speak Spanish more expressively & break out of the trap of using the same old words over & over!

  1. You'll have a wide repertoire of useful Spanish idioms
  2. You'll instinctively know how & when to use them
  3. They'll be exactly where you want them... on the tip of your tongue!

Here's What's Included...

The concept is beautifully simple!

Every day, for 30 days, you’ll get:

Frequently Asked Questions

What level is the challenge for?
Both the story and the lesson content is aimed at A2-B1 level. (That's high-beginner to low-intermediate) In other words, this is for you if you've been studying Spanish for a little while (or maybe a long while!), can understand at least some Spanish, but struggle to express yourself in a comfortable and natural way.
How can I access the challenge?
Mobile, desktop, laptop, tablet... The challenge is super user-friendly and you'll be able to log on from anywhere!
What exactly will I learn? How will this challenge help me?
During this challenge, we'll focus on the Spanish idioms and all of their different uses, recycled over and over throughout the story. You'll see these idioms used in their natural context over and over in the story. This means you'll learn instinctively how and when to use each one. You'll get daily lessons from María, where you'll learn about each idiom in the story, 1-by-1. This means you'll develop an intuitive and native-like understanding of when and how to use these Spanish idioms.
What variety of Spanish do you use in the course?
We use neutral Spanish where possible, but use Castilian Spanish where a choice must be made. María, our tutor, is from Spain. But let me be clear: This challenge is for all learners and all varieties of Spanish. True, there are some variations in idioms from country to country (Spaniards use some idioms that Mexicans don't, for example), and not all of these idioms will be used in every country, but the differences are small and easily adaptable.
What if it's too hard, or my level is too low?
To make the challenge achievable, we've kept each chapter short - only 250 words! This means that you'll be able to easily make it to the end of the chapter each day, even if it does take you a little longer. However, the daily video lessons will give you all the support you need, as you'll have clear, professional explanations for why and how the idioms are used in the story. If I had my way, this is the only way students would ever learn Spanish!
What's so special about this "StoryLearning" method anyway?
Most Spanish students try to learn idioms through rote memorisation. This doesn't work, and is extremely stressful for you as a learner. Why? It's impossible to hold them all in your head at the same time while you're speaking. It's also not a natural approach ... native speakers don't learn idioms with rules, after all! With this challenge, you'll learn through example and context, just like native speakers do! The magic of learning through story is that your main focus is actually not on the idioms themselves... you concentrate on understanding and enjoying the story! As you're reading and listening to the story, the idioms will begin to lodge themselves subconsciously in your brain. It doesn't happen right away - in fact it may take a couple of weeks for you to feel the real effects. But by the end of the 30 days, you'll have a native-like command of idioms that will amaze you.
I'm not sure I can commit for 30 days
Your daily commitment is only 15 minutes. This is because the principle of the challenge is little and often is the best way to learn. 15 minutes is a pretty manageable amount of time to devote to your Spanish. You can fit it in comfortably: • before breakfast • during your lunch break • after dinner • ...even while waiting for the bus! The power is in the consistency - working at it for a short time every day. You'll be amazed at the huge progress you make from simply showing up every day to work on one area of your Spanish! Remember, you get the audio of the story, as well as the text, so you can easily take part and keep up wherever you happen to be!
What if I am unhappy with the challenge?
I would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with the challenge, contact me at any point during the challenge and I'll issue you full and prompt refund.
How long do I have access to the course after the end of the challenge?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
